infinity pools

Pools without borders

An infinity pool is a swimming pool designed so that water flows over one or more edges into a catch basin below, creating the illusion that the pool extends to the horizon.

The effect works best when the vanishing edge aligns with a scenic backdrop—ocean, sky, or valley.

Infinity pools are associated with luxury resorts and high-end properties: The villa's infinity pool seemed to merge with the Mediterranean.
