hypopigmented
Abnormally pale skin
Hypopigmented describes skin or tissue with less pigment than normal, appearing lighter than surrounding areas.
The condition results from reduced melanin production: hypopigmented patches on the arms, hypopigmented scars.
Medical contexts use it to describe birthmarks, vitiligo spots, or healing wounds that haven't regained full color.
