hook kick
Curved leg attack
A hook kick is a martial arts technique where the leg swings in a curved path, striking with the heel or sole in a hooking motion.
Unlike straight kicks, the power comes from the hip rotation as the leg arcs around to catch the target—typically the head or body—from the side: She landed a clean hook kick to his temple.
