crescent kick
Sweeping leg arc
A crescent kick is a martial arts technique where the leg swings in an arc across the body, tracing a crescent shape.
The kick can travel inward or outward, striking with the inside or outside edge of the foot.
Used in taekwondo, karate, and other disciplines, it targets an opponent's head, arm, or hand—often to disarm or deflect: She knocked the weapon away with a crescent kick.
