holiday let
Short-term vacation property
A holiday let is a property rented out to vacationers for short stays, typically by the week.
The term is primarily British, corresponding to American "vacation rental." Holiday lets range from seaside cottages to city apartments: They converted the farmhouse into a holiday let.
The owner may use it personally when not rented out.
