hereness
State of presence
Hereness is the quality or condition of being here—of existing in this specific place or moment.
The word emphasizes presence and immediacy, often in philosophical or contemplative contexts: The meditation focused on hereness rather than elsewhere.
It contrasts with abstraction or mental wandering, grounding attention in the immediate environment.
