hangared

Put in storage

Hangared means stored or sheltered in a hangar—a large building used to house aircraft.

The term appears most often as a past participle describing where planes are kept when not in use: The private jets were hangared at the regional airport.

It can also describe the act of moving aircraft into storage: We hangared the Cessna before the storm.
