hangar doors
Huge sliding panels
Hangar doors are the large doors on aircraft hangars, designed to allow planes to pass through.
Because hangars must accommodate wingspans, their doors are among the largest moving structures in ordinary use—often sliding horizontally on tracks or folding in sections.
The hangar doors rumbled open as the jet was towed out.
