Fill-the-cells challenge
A grid puzzle is any puzzle solved by filling cells in a rectangular arrangement according to logical rules.
Crosswords, sudoku, word searches, and nonograms are all grid puzzles.
The grid provides structure—rows, columns, and sometimes boxes—that constrains possible answers and guides deduction: I do the grid puzzle in the newspaper every morning.
