gray squirrels
Acorn-burying park dwellers
Gray squirrels are common North American rodents with bushy tails and gray fur, often seen in parks and backyards.
They're notorious for raiding bird feeders and burying nuts they later forget—inadvertently planting trees.
The eastern gray squirrel has been introduced to Britain, where it has largely displaced the native red squirrel.
