A gravity bong is a homemade smoking device that uses water and air pressure to draw smoke into a chamber—typically a plastic bottle submerged in water, lifted as the bowl burns to fill with dense smoke.

The smoker then pushes the bottle back down while inhaling, forcing concentrated smoke into the lungs: We made a gravity bong out of a two-liter and a bucket.
