get lost

Leave me alone

Get lost is a dismissive command telling someone to go away: I told him to get lost.

The phrase also describes becoming disoriented or unable to find one's way: We got lost in the woods.

In figurative use, to get lost in something is to become completely absorbed: She got lost in the music.
