take a hike

Go away now

Take a hike is a dismissive command telling someone to leave or go away.

It's ruder than "please leave" but milder than "fuck off": I told him to take a hike when he asked for another loan.

The phrase can also mean to quit or end involvement: She told her boss to take a hike and started her own business.
