fundies
Slang for underpants
Fundies is informal, usually disparaging shorthand for fundamentalists—typically religious fundamentalists who hold strict, literal interpretations of scripture: The fundies protested outside the clinic.
The term carries dismissive or mocking connotations, implying rigid or anti-intellectual beliefs.
Less commonly, fundies refers to fundamentals or basics: Let's get back to fundies.
