frog eggs
Pond jelly clusters
Frog eggs are the gelatinous masses laid by frogs, typically found in ponds and other still water.
Each egg appears as a dark sphere suspended in clear jelly.
The clusters float at the surface or attach to aquatic plants.
Also called frogspawn, especially in British English: The pond was full of frog eggs in early spring.
