frequency distribution
Values and counts
A frequency distribution is a summary showing how often each value or range of values occurs in a dataset.
In statistics, it organizes raw data into categories with counts or percentages: The frequency distribution showed most test scores clustered between 70 and 85.
Frequency distributions can be displayed as tables or visualized as histograms and bar charts.
