freight cars
Train's hauling vehicles
Freight cars are railroad vehicles designed to transport goods rather than passengers.
They come in specialized types depending on what they carry: boxcars for general merchandise, flatcars for heavy equipment, tank cars for liquids, and hopper cars for bulk materials like grain or coal.
In American usage, freight car is standard; British English typically uses goods wagon or freight wagon instead.
