Frappes is the plural of frappe, a chilled or frozen drink.

In New England, a frappe is a thick milkshake made with ice cream—what other regions call a milkshake or malt.

Elsewhere, especially in coffee culture, a frappé is an iced blended coffee drink: I ordered two frappes for the road.

The word comes from French, meaning chilled or iced.
