frags
Splinter grenade blasts
Frags is gaming slang for kills, originating in first-person shooters where players track how many opponents they've eliminated.
The term comes from military slang for fragmentation grenades, which became shorthand for any kill in multiplayer games.
I got twelve frags that round.
Frag counts often determine winners in deathmatch modes.
The singular frag also works as a verb: I fragged him right as he spawned.
