forum spam
Unwanted board messages
Forum spam is unwanted promotional or malicious content posted to online discussion boards, typically by automated bots or paid accounts.
It often includes links to commercial sites, scams, or malware.
Forum spam exploits the open nature of community platforms, forcing moderators to delete posts and ban accounts: The forum was overrun with spam selling fake watches.
