fogie

Stuck in past

A fogie, also spelled fogy, is an old-fashioned or conservative person, typically someone older who is out of touch with current trends or resistant to new ideas.

The word almost always appears with old in front of it: Don't be such an old fogie—try the new restaurant.

Despite the mild derision it carries, fogie is more affectionate than truly insulting, often used self-deprecatingly by people acknowledging their own outdated preferences.
