fogeys
Set-in-their-ways types
Fogeys is the plural of fogey, an old-fashioned or stuffy person resistant to new ideas.
Usually appears as old fogeys: Those old fogeys on the board will never approve anything innovative.
The spelling fogy is also common.
Despite the typical pairing with old, the word sometimes describes younger people with conservative attitudes: young fogeys.
