floosies
Women of ill repute
Floosies is the plural of floosy (also spelled floozy), a dated and mildly derogatory term for a woman considered sexually promiscuous or of loose morals.
The word carries a tone of frivolity and cheapness: He was always seen with floosies at the bar.
It appears most often in mid-twentieth-century contexts and period pieces.
