filling up

Topping off completely

Filling up is the act of making something full or becoming full.

Most often it describes refueling a vehicle: I need to stop for gas—we're filling up at the next station.

It also applies to containers, spaces, or even people: The restaurant is filling up fast, I'm filling up on bread before the main course.
