Feeling anxious about
Fearing is the present participle of fear—experiencing dread or apprehension about something.
It often introduces what someone is afraid might happen: Fearing the worst, she called the hospital.
Fearing can also mean being afraid of: a man fearing nothing, fearing for her safety.
God-fearing describes someone devoutly religious.
