fancy
Not at all plain
The adjective fancy typically distinguishes a costlier or more elaborate variety of a thing that also has a plain version.
Fancy may also suggest, slightly pejoratively, opulence or expense: He only eats in fancy restaurants.
The verb fancy is more common in British than American English and means to consider, imagine, or take a liking to: I fancy that dress.
The noun fancy may denote the imagination, something imagined, or something desired: He went on a flight of fancy.
