face swap
Digital visage switch
Face swap is a digital effect that exchanges the faces of two people in an image or video, mapping each face onto the other's head.
Photo apps and filters popularized face swapping as entertainment: We did a face swap and I had my dog's face.
The technology has serious applications in film production and darker uses in deepfake pornography and fraud.
