eye boogers
Morning eye gunk
Eye boogers are the crusty or gummy deposits that collect in the corners of the eyes, especially after sleep.
The substance is dried mucus, oils, and debris that the eyes naturally produce and expel.
Also called eye crud, sleep, or the more clinical term rheum: I woke up with eye boogers I had to wash away.
