enthronements
Ceremonies seating monarchs
Enthronements are ceremonies or acts of placing someone on a throne, formally installing them in a position of power or authority.
The word applies literally to monarchs and religious leaders like bishops, and figuratively to any elevation to a commanding position: The enthronements of new CEOs often come with lavish celebrations.
