enrichment classes
Beyond-curriculum educational sessions
Enrichment classes are supplementary educational programs beyond standard curriculum, designed to develop skills or explore interests not covered in regular schooling.
They typically include subjects like art, music, coding, foreign languages, or chess: The kids have enrichment classes after school.
The term implies enhancement rather than remediation—adding depth rather than catching up.
