enriched flour
Vitamins added back
Enriched flour is refined wheat flour with certain nutrients added back after processing.
Milling removes the bran and germ, stripping away vitamins and minerals; enrichment restores some of these, typically B vitamins and iron.
Most white flour sold in the United States is enriched by law.
Check the label for enriched flour.
