email anxiety
Unread message stress
Email anxiety is the dread or unease surrounding electronic correspondence—the stress of an overflowing inbox, the fear of missing something important, or the paralysis that comes before composing a difficult message.
It can manifest as compulsive checking or prolonged avoidance: My email anxiety keeps me refreshing every five minutes or I haven't opened my inbox in three days.
