Boozy late-night regret
A drunk text is a message sent while intoxicated, typically late at night, often to an ex-partner or crush, and usually regretted the next morning.
The impaired judgment of alcohol leads to confessions, declarations, or rambling that sober reflection would have prevented: I woke up to see the drunk texts I sent her last night.
As a verb, to drunk text is to send such messages.
