Technical illustration workspace
A drawing office is a room or department where technical drawings, blueprints, and architectural plans are produced.
The term is primarily British, corresponding to American "drafting room." Before computer-aided design, drawing offices employed teams of draughtsmen working at large tilted tables: He spent thirty years in the drawing office at the shipyard.
