deglazers
Liquid fond lifters
Deglazers are liquids used to deglaze a pan—wine, stock, vinegar, or other liquids added to a hot pan after searing to loosen the browned bits (fond) stuck to the bottom.
The term also applies to tools or products that remove glaze from surfaces like ceramics or windows: The contractor used chemical deglazers on the old tiles.
