nonstick cookware
Coated kitchen vessels
Nonstick cookware refers to pots and pans with a coating that prevents food from adhering to the cooking surface.
The coating—typically Teflon or ceramic—allows cooking with less oil and makes cleanup easier: I use nonstick cookware for eggs and pancakes.
The surfaces can be damaged by metal utensils or high heat.
