decedent's
Belonging to deceased
Decedent's is the possessive form of decedent, a legal term for a person who has died.
The word appears almost exclusively in legal and estate contexts: the decedent's property, the decedent's last will and testament, the decedent's surviving spouse.
Outside of legal documents, most people simply say "the deceased person's."
