debloat

Trim the fat

Debloat means to remove excess or unnecessary elements, typically from software or from the body.

In computing, to debloat is to strip out preinstalled programs, features, or code that slow down a system: I spent the weekend debloating my new laptop.

In wellness contexts, debloating refers to reducing abdominal swelling or water retention: This tea is supposed to help you debloat.
