A dean's list is a roster of students who have achieved high academic standing during a term, typically maintained by individual colleges or schools within a university.
Making the dean's list is an honor noted on transcripts and résumés: She made the dean's list three semesters in a row.
The criteria vary by institution but usually require a GPA above 3.5.
