cycle track
Banked cycling circuit
A cycle track is a path or lane designated for bicycles, separated from motor vehicle traffic and pedestrians.
Unlike a bike lane painted on a road, a cycle track typically has physical separation—a curb, barrier, or elevation change: The city added protected cycle tracks along the waterfront.
Common in European urban planning, increasingly adopted elsewhere.
