Covidiot is a derisive term for someone perceived as acting foolishly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The word cuts both ways politically—initially targeting those who hoarded supplies or ignored safety guidelines, but also applied by skeptics to people they considered excessively fearful or compliant: These covidiots are still wearing masks outdoors.
