core hours
Mandatory work window
Core hours are the designated period during a workday when all employees must be present or available, typically the middle portion of the day.
The concept exists mainly in flexible work arrangements: employees may choose when to start and end their day, but everyone overlaps during core hours for meetings and collaboration.
Our core hours are 10 to 3, so schedule the team meeting then.
