worktime
Paid labor period
Worktime is the period during which work is performed, as opposed to leisure or personal time.
It appears in discussions of labor policy, scheduling, and work-life balance: German worktime regulations limit weekly hours.
The word is more common in European contexts than American ones, where "work hours" or "working hours" typically fills the same role.
