communion cup
Eucharistic wine holder
A communion cup is a small cup used in Christian church services to hold wine or grape juice during the Eucharist.
Traditionally a single chalice was shared by the congregation, but many churches now use individual communion cups—small disposable or reusable cups distributed on trays.
The deacons passed trays of communion cups down each pew.
