commingling
Funds losing boundaries
Commingling is the mixing together of things that were separate, especially funds or assets.
In legal and financial contexts, commingling often suggests improper mixing: The lawyer was disbarred for commingling client funds with his personal account.
More neutrally, it can describe any blending: the commingling of cultures in a border town.
