commentary track
DVD bonus narration
A commentary track is an audio recording included with a film or television episode in which directors, actors, or other participants discuss the production while the work plays.
Viewers can switch to this alternate audio to hear behind-the-scenes insights, anecdotes, and creative decisions: The director's commentary track reveals they almost cut that scene.
