coffee extract
Liquid bean concentrate
Coffee extract is a concentrated liquid made by steeping coffee beans in water or alcohol, used as a flavoring in baking, desserts, and beverages.
Unlike brewed coffee, extracts are shelf-stable and pack intense flavor into small amounts: Add a teaspoon of coffee extract to the brownie batter.
Commercial versions often use alcohol as a solvent, similar to vanilla extract.
