clasper
Shark's reproductive limb
Claspers are paired appendages on male sharks, rays, and some other fish, used to transfer sperm during mating.
They develop from modified pelvic fins and insert into the female's cloaca.
The term also applies to similar grasping structures in male insects: The moth's claspers help secure the female during copulation.
