clanswoman
Female clan member
A clanswoman is a female member of a clan—a group united by kinship, common ancestry, or tribal affiliation.
The term appears most often in Scottish contexts, where clans have deep historical significance: The clanswomen gathered for the annual Highland games.
It can also apply to any tight-knit group with strong familial bonds.
