cigarette card
Pack insert collectible
A cigarette card is a small printed card that was packaged with cigarettes, typically featuring illustrations of athletes, actors, military figures, or other collectible subjects.
Popular from the 1870s through the mid-20th century, these cards encouraged brand loyalty and became widely collected: My grandfather's cigarette cards from the 1930s included the whole cricket team.
